Beautiful hand colored engraving showing "The Celebration of the Four Hundredth Anniversary of the Sailing of Columbus for America". Image shows a replica ship of the Santa Maria they built for the occasion. Caption under title reads, The Caravel "Santa Maria", built at Palos to cross the Atlantic for the Chicago Exhibition, on her way to Huelva. 1896 Print: Life of Christopher Columbus. This wood-engraved print is titled "Incidents in the Life of Christopher Columbus." It was published in 1896 as an illustration to a book. In the center of the print there is a portrait of Columbus, surrounded by various scenes from his life. This print is in excellent condition.

1783 Columbus and the King and Queen of Spain. Color, copper engraving was published in Middleton's Complete System of Geography in 1783. It shows Columbus presenting an account of his discovery of America to the King and Queen of Spain. Lovely, rare print. 9x12 in. $100

1892 World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago. Engraved portrait of Christopher Columbus appears on the front cover of the official report on the World's Columbian Expo of 1892. The report is included and gives detailed accounts of the preparations leading up to the expo. 11x16 in. $60
