003chr: 1844 Scene: Birth of Jesus. Beautiful copper engraving from a French religious text, showing baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph in a cave, with angels hovering overhead. There is a light stain in the right margin, but the image is not affected. 10x14 in. $50
004chr: 1880 Lithograph: Woman Praying. Beautiful color lithograph, printed in 1880, titled "The Mother’s Prayer." Shows a young woman with her hands clasped in prayer. A few chips and scratch marks on the image, primarily above her head. Overall condition is good. 10x14 in. $40 |
005chr: 1691 Antiphonal Music Sheet. Antiphonals are sheets of music that were used by monks for singing/chanting. This beautiful antiphonal was printed in the year 1691. Unlike many antiphonal sheets of the time, which were hand painted on sheepskin, this was printed on hand-laid rag paper using a printing press. The entire text is in Latin, and there is a decorative letter "C" at the beginning of the page. The printing is on both sides of the sheet. If this sheet were framed, it would look fantastic! 8x12 in. SOLD
