015fen: 1869 Nast Print: Animals Fencing. Unusual engraving by Thomas Nast, printed in the July 17, 1869 issue of Harper's Weekly. Title is "After the Spat." Creatures with human bodies and animal heads are shown, immediately after a duel. A character with a duck's head has just been wounded, and his opponent is walking away. The duck's friends (a bear and two dogs) are gathered around him anxiously. 11x16 in.
