004geam: 1905 Sheet Music: The German Band. This is the piano music for a song titled "The Leader of the German Band," by Edward Madden and Theodore Morse. Brightly colored cover shows marching band members playing their instruments. All the pages are included, although the cover is no longer attached. Carnival Held by the Germans of America, Celebrating Unity and the Conclusion of Peace in the Fatherland. The engraving shows scenes from the parade, which celebrated the creation of a single German state and Germany's victory over France in the Franco Prussian War. 16x22 in. $60
