200mil: 1860 Panoramic View of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Nicely hand-colored engraving from the March 14, 1860 issue of Leslie’s Weekly. Shows the city of Milwaukee, as seen from the mouth of the Milwaukee River. Title of the scene is "View of the City of Milwaukee, Port of Entry, Situated on the West Shore of Lake Michigan, at the Mouth of the Milwaukee River. Incorporated January, 1846." An article beneath the image describes the city. Three small portraits beneath the image are unrelated. Several small holes at the top of the center crease have been professionally repaired. Otherwise excellent condition. 16x22 in. $100
