200nc: 1833 Map of North Carolina South Carolina. This wonderful, extremely detailed map was published in 1833 by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge (SDUK). It is titled "North America, Sheet XI, Parts of North and South Carolina." The map shows approximately three quarters of each state, westward from the eastern shore. State and county borders are all clearly marked with original outline coloring. The locations of cities, towns and villages are shown throughout the area. Roads, canals, forts, and geographical features are shown as well. This map is in very good condition, with no stains on the image. The left margin is trimmed close to the map border, but the border is not affected. 14x16 in.
