1862 Johnson's Nebraska, Dakota, Colorado, & Kansas. Showing an early configuration of the region, Nebraska extends as far as Salt Lake City. Northern half of the region is shown as part as the Dakota Territory, one year before the Idaho Territory was broken off. Other details include rivers, towns, forts, Indian tribes and trails. Hand colored, lithograph.

1882: Taming and Training the American Mustang. The City of Denver and Mountain Scenes in Colorado. This beautifully hand colored, engraved print is from the November 25, 1882 Harper's Weekly. It shows scenes of: driving in the herd, blinding the horse, the first sensation of the saddle, trying to regain his liberty, the plunging "bucker", lassooing the colt, the stiff-legged "bucker", A cure for an obstinate one, the balking pupil, striking at the bit, and the final result of training. This print is in 
excellent condition.
