1891 Blarney Castle. This hand colored half-tone shows Blarney Castle, home of the "Blareny Stone, said to be endowed with the property of communicating to those who kiss its polished surface, the gift of gentle, insinuating speech." The stone contains the inscription: "cormack MacCarthy, 'Fort is me fierie fecit A.S. 1446." size 10x835 in. $40

A crowd of mourners is shown following the coffin, which is resting on a horse-drawn wagon. Some chipping on the edges of the margins, but overall condition 
is very good.

210ire: 1871: Irish Immigrant at Sea, and in the US. Engraved image from Harper's Weekly, titled "Afloat and Ashore." Scene on the left is called "Afloat: On Deck." It shows an Irishman standing on the deck of a boat, migrating to the United States. Scene on the right is called "Ashore: In a Snug Berth, as a Tammany Office Holder." The same man is shown making a forceful argument at a political meeting.
